I grew up surrounded by unique relationships, which instilled in me a deep appreciation for my family. My most recent series is a reflection of my relationship with my family. My work explores the relationship between realism, color theory, and imagination. I'm fascinated by human connection and how so many colors are left unseen by the human eye, and I try to blend the two ideas. Through my practice, I aim to uncover the deeper color ranges that most people don't pay attention to.
Though I love experimenting with a variety of mediums, I primarily love working with oil paint because it allows me to blend seamlessly. My process often begins with going through my camera roll, which eventually evolves into creating a draft directly on a canvas and blocking it with color. It eventually evolves into adding more details and finalizing the product. Ultimately, my art serves as a vessel for the celebration of colors and personalities. I hope to invite my audience to question the values that are hidden in plain sight and find a sense of curiosity within the work.
